As you will see in this video, space in my field placement room was at a minimum; however, the set up worked well for these students. Posters / student work filles the walls - reading scoops, persuasive writing, motivational sayings, etc. The desks were aranged in a U-shape that framed the room. Lining the walls of the room were computers in the back (used during snack to help students complete their Month Packets), my teacher's desk in the front, and the class library on the sides (seperated by level). The overall atmosphere of the room is welcoming and inviting - it is a nice place for student's to learn and grow.
